Curious to know what boom preventer setup members use.

We just use a snapshackle to the mainboom to a block at the bow then back to a cleat.. It seems to have enough shock absorption as well as prevent during an accidental jib.

We were cheap.  Used a dock line with the loop over the boom then run forward to the forward cleat.
